About Iranians for Peace
Across geographical borders, linguistic, religious, and racial difference, we stand with our peace loving brothers and sisters in the world. Innocent Iranians, who have tasted the brutality of Saddam's chemical weapons first hand, are our witnesses and our allies. So is any person who has been affected by war in any distant corner of the globe. In the immediate sense, we demand that the US-Israel/Iran standoff be resolved peacefully and unconditionally through immediate and direct negotiations. In the long run, we will stand together to be torch-bearers for a peaceful solution to all the world conflicts. To us peace is not a distant goal. It is the way itself ...and every step we take on that way.

Founding Statement
IFP calls for unity to rule out the military option
The likelihood of a U.S. or Israeli military attack on Iran is considerable, even though American intelligence agencies now agree that there is no nuclear weapons 
program in Iran. The threat of war remains real until comprehensive negotiations between the U.S. and Iran begin and gain momentum.
Any attack on Iran would have catastrophic consequences for Iran and the region and would dwarf the ongoing tragedy in Iraq. It would drastically reduce security on all sides for generations to come. There would be no winners, only devastation.
We, the constituents of "Iranians for Peace", believe that a broad- based opposition to war among Iranians can discourage a march to war. Based on humanitarian grounds, we call on all Iranians and non-Iranians everywhere to stand united in opposing military intervention in Iran.
We urge both sides to take measures to reduce tensions and initiate comprehensive and unconditional negotiations between Iran and the United states to create an opening for meaningful progress toward understanding and peace.

بینش و رسالت ما که در "ایرانیان برای صلح" با یکدیگر هم پیوند شده ایم در کنار ملت ایران بودن و کوشش برای از میان برداشتن تضییقات و تحریم های تحمیل شده بر این ملت و مبارزه با خطر مداخله نظامی قدرتهای خارجی درکشور است.
سعی ما بر این است که با تنش زدایی، و با شناساندن فرهنگ ایران به جهان، بکوشیم تا این کشور جایگاه مناسب خود را در جرگه کشورهای جهان بر اساس ارزشهای بشر دوستانه و احترام متقابل به حیثیت ، آزادی و استقلال همه کشورها پیدا کند.
We have come together under the banner of Iranians for Peace to stand by the people of Iran in an effort to remove the pressures and sanctions imposed on them, and to fight the danger of foreign military intervention in Iran.
Through educating the world about the Iranian culture and society, and reducing tension, we aspire to restore the country to its proper place among the nations of the world based on mutual respect for freedom, dignity, and independence for all.
